Signs Of Life
		Signs of Life is a spirited four-piece band with a generous catalog of original material that delves into the emotional side of world and personal events. Their music has been describe as "a tough rootsy, rockin' mix" and a "melting pot of culture and musical diversity"... they call it roots-infused rock. Josie Crosby and Tom Champlin deliver vocals that are powerful and expressive while Chris Hackett and Bill Lawing provide a dynamic foundation on which their striking sound is built. With insightful and thought-provoking lyrics layered on top of a deeply melodic core.... the songs are magnetic. Vocal phrases are intertwined in fluid harmonies then woven together with rich guitar lines. Combined with the solid and intense energy of the rhythm section this develops the unique nature that is Signs of Life. Her voice, strong like Grace Slick's with warbly flecks of Neil Young and Janis, heads up a tough rootsy, rockin' mix... Mark Garthwait
		Mark Garthwait began as a drummer at age 8. By age 14, he was playing clubs and expanding to guitar, bass, and piano. Through the 90's Mark rode the Ct/NY/Mass heavy music circuit as the lead guitarist for the band Hooked, and shared the stage with national acts such as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Hatebreed, and Murphys Law. His music has had airplay on 104.1 WMRQ, 88.7 WNHU, 89.3 WAMH, and 90.1 WECS. Mark is currently writing music for a self-produced instrumental CD entitled Caldera, which he describes as "trance-hypnotic mood music".
