Gena Ross co-wrote
a musical with Robert Stone called Bigger Fish to Fry
and it played in Times Square.
Gena has spent the
last 2 years writing and recording this
album.
She has taken
voice lessons,...but other than that has never had
any musical training.
She can play
instruments to write music- but, you'd laugh if she
tried to play you a song and sing it at the same time. I
write my songs and I couldn't tell you how to hell I
played it- I do it once and it's in Ron's hands...

OTHERWISE
Reggae / Electronica
Otherwise is refined
energy. The band fuses hard reggae and electronica to form a relentless,
crowd-shaking experience. Their lyrics are engaging and inspiring, exploring
love, social change, and the catharsis of music and dance. Starting as a
four piece outfit in 2002, the band has evolved in many stages and in many
ways. Creating their own studio to record and distribute their music;
creating and running their own music festival--Festivus
Music Festival--to help promote area music scene; and recently adding a fifth
member, DJ Lock Mess, formerly of Zigs and Bats Circus, Lynch, Acidental
Groove, and others.

METACOMET features
shimmering vocal harmonies, daring bass guitar
work, and ultra-tight drumming. But this
innovative Connecticut trio doesnt stop
there. Siblings Jill
OBrien (vocals), Joe OBrien (bass, vocals)
and drummer Mike Keyes focus on creating great
songs.
The band draws the audience into their
show with unforgettable original material,
along with edgy takes on classics by The Who,
Talking Heads, Blondie, Johnny Cash and many
others. Their surprising musical arrangements,
powerful originals, showmanship, and laid-back
sense of humor keep fans coming back.

Brian Jarvis
Pop / Folk / Rock / Acoustic
Brian Jarvis began creating music during a time when
acoustic guitars ruled pop radio. The airways were filled
with the music of artists such as Dave Matthews, David Gray
and Guster, and by listening to their songs, Brian fell in
love with the sound of acoustic guitar. It became his
instrument of choice, and an integral part of his song
writing.
In his own words, describing the appeal of the
instrument, Brian says, There is no where to run and hide
while playing an acoustic guitar; it flaunts your successes
and advertises your mistakes.
